Hi Aaron. 'tis Rorie.

All is fine, save for the fact that I'm bogged down in academic work at the moment. I'd much rather be adding to Interrogation...

Of course, I won't let that stop me heading out tonight.

Hey sorry for such the delay in replying, haven't logged on in ages, haven't had the time to create any artistic work, or have anything new to post up, work so far has been taking up alot of my time as well as running a weekly radio show and playing out on the weekends..

Hope all is going well and the pressure of study has eased it's self a bit so you can breath easier. might catch you out this weekend if your heading out to the Club? Got an Anthems & covers night i'll be playing at, so far got some good tunes in the line up. But i feel that some of them would also be on some of the other Dj's playlist..

Got any suggestions yourself on tracks that would be of interest to play?

Here are a few tracks from my crate im considering to play so far,

Assemblage 23 - I am the Rain
XPQ-21 - Bella Lugosi's Dead (good danceable cover of Bauhaus's version)
Suicide Commando (got a few tracks here, was thinking maybe Cause of Death?)
VNV Nation - (from the Empires album)
Depeche Mode - (if i can set up my Turntables i got some fantastic remixes worth playing)
Icon of Coil - (i feel there under appreciated, can't decide on what tracks to play either. To many good songs to choose from maybe Wiretrip? tho i don't feel it's an "anthem" song )

anyhow let me know what you think so far, :)

Also, I will try to be out there this weekend, though I do have a lot of catching up to do, having spent all of last week in Newcastle.

So many come to mind. I shall try to refrain from simply listing tracks I've wanted to hear there for ages (or not).

When it comes to anthems, it's hard to think of any that I've not heard dozens of times already. Perhaps if you're looking for something a little older,

Mindphaser by Front Line Assembly

would be a decent idea. Not sure how people would respond though. Angriff or Shifting Through the Lens, off their last album, Improvised. Electronic. Device. would also be nice. Not sure if those two count as anthems though.

Perhaps my own bias showing, as it was among the first decent industrial/dark electronic songs I heard (and still listen to):

Engelsstaub by In Strict Confidence (there are a few remixes of it out there).

The only cover that I can think of, off the top of my head (besides And One's cover of Project Pitchfork's Timekiller), is Vigilante's EBM version of Victor Jara's El Derecho de Vivir en Paz. I can think of a few other covers, but none are particularly good. Speaking of Vigilante, I wouldn't mind hearing more of their music there.

Danceable stuff with very old lyrics (does that stuff count as covers?) - Unter der Linden by Heimatærde, Lyrics by Walther von die Vogelwiede (1170-1230). As for something a bit nicer sounding:
Omnis Mundi Creatura by Helium Vola.

I can't really think of anything else I haven't already reccomended to yourself or Blair, and written on a sheet of paper.
